The NBA's longest-running youth basketball league, Junior Jazz impacts the lives of more than 70,000 youth every year. Individual programs are managed through recreation centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Nevada. Junior Jazz emphasizes developing teamwork and fundamental basketball skills, supported by positive adult participation. Junior Jazz also includes a sportsmanship initiative that empowers athletes, coaches, parents, fans, and staff to be respectful and exemplify positive sportsmanship. Each year, sportsmanship winners are invited to the end-of-season celebration.
